An attractive mid 19th century watercolour depicting a river landscape with figures conversing by the water. To the foreground stands a single fisherman watching boats as they sail down river, while to the left rest a group of women, mid natter with their dog. The composition has been well-presented in a wash-line mount and gilt-effect frame. Unsigned. On watercolour paper.
