Joseph Conrad-Ferm
Despite having no formal art training, artist Joseph Conrad-Ferm creates compelling paintings and mixed-media works in the tradition of the Abstract Expressionists. The American painter has captured the attention of critics and collectors alike with his intuitive forms, flowing brushstrokes and use of vivid colors.
Born in 1975 and raised in New Canaan, Connecticut, Conrad-Ferm didn’t explore his artistic side until 2001, when he felt a sudden compulsion to paint. “In late December of that year, in the boiler room of my mother’s basement, with no reference point, I felt compelled to paint,” he has said.
Since that watershed moment, Conrad-Ferm’s artistic process evolved into creating abstract paintings driven by pure emotion and feeling. “I’ve been able to express the joys and pitfalls of my total life experience, through a language that is universal,” he has said of his work.
To date, Conrad-Ferm has created more than 1,000 finished works on canvas, wood and paper. He has had over 80 solo and group shows to his credit, with exhibitions at the Paul Fisher Gallery and the Coral Springs Museum of Art in Florida, and the Tuleste Factory in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood.
Conrad-Ferm’s works are highly sought after by interior designers and abstract art collectors and have been featured in television shows as well as in publications in the United States and Europe. He has also enjoyed collaborations with cycling and athletic apparel brands in recent years. When he isn’t painting, Conrad-Ferm works full-time as a registered critical care nurse.

- Ethereal - Large Blue Purple Ethereal Textured Abstract Painting on CanvasLocated in Los Angeles, CAClara Berta’s acrylic and mixed-media paintings blend texture and color to create harmony, mystery, and depth on the painted surface. Her paintings transform spaces into Zen environments where one can quiet a cluttered mind and enjoy beauty every day. Clara Berta’s paintings explore themes such as the ebb and flow of memory, the significance of personal heritage, the passing of physical time, desire, grief, and love. This minimalist ocean-inspired artwork is 60 inches high by 48 inches wide. The sides of this original artwork are a continuation of the front. It is stretched, wired, and ready to hang. It is signed and titled by the artist on the back. Free local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and worldwide shipping available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. Clara Berta explores the collision between the old and new; destruction and rebuilding lives. She began painting as an outlet of grief; creating something beautiful as the result of loss. Through her creative practice, she has found healing, and further offers to her community safe spaces for troubled teens and women to heal through the meditative process of painting. Her artworks are a language, a push forward in new directions and achievements, while always inspired by history. Berta mixes minimalism with underlying texture and embraces modernism while compiling the odds and ends of her attempts to let her art speak for itself. Her abstract works often include reminders of her travels expressed in unexpected sequences of patterns as well as distortion of perspectives and subconscious spaces. Manipulating the texture with several layers of texture paste and acrylic paint, she will work and re-work her canvases, layering textures to give added dimension, and creating works that intrigue and invite the viewer to explore not only the surface but also the inner language of the painting. A passionate, award-winning artist of Hungarian heritage, Clara Berta's dynamic and highly textural abstract...Category

- Serendipity XVIII - Colorful Abstract Geometric Painting in Red, Green, and GreyBy Raul de la TorreLocated in Los Angeles, CABarcelona native artist Raul de la Torre's vibrant abstract mixed media artworks pay homage to textiles. De La Torre allows the materials to take over during the process and collaborates with the unexpected to create works that speak to the natures of dynamism and unity. Experimentation with different materials, textures, and techniques in each of his paintings has been a point of discovery and a major part of Raul de la Torre’s work. This colorful horizontal artwork is created with thickly layered acrylic paint on paper. This original work on paper is not framed. This painting is 22 inches high by 30 inches wide. Framing options are available. Convenient local Los Angeles area delivery. Affordable U.S. and global shipping is available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. The interaction between the artist, gravity, and the paint is important for the final result. The technique attempts to eliminate the absolute imprint of the artist’s hand. This permits the paint to be a major architect of the final result, giving it a life of its own. It results in infinite and timeless color combinations. In many cases, the different layers of color each represent a temporary state of mind, time, and even places and people. Artspace Warehouse has been representing and exhibiting Raul de la Torre's original artworks since 2010. The gallery has been a 1stdibs partner since 2014 with consistently excellent reviews from clients worldwide. The gallery exhibits a large selection of affordable original artworks from established and emerging international artists with diverse backgrounds at high standards.
