Artist Libby Ramage portrays varying figures in a compelling mixed media artwork. An ornately designed silhouette of a woman walks with her arms spread wide open. In various layers that are left revealed in portions, vintage photographs highlight smiling people. "I used old family photographs, a page from an old children's book, and found paper to create a dialogue about the dual personality of a woman."
About the Artist
Libby Ramage infuses a playful and whimsical mood into her works. In fact, she credits the children she works with for greatly influencing her aesthetic. She often uses children’s abandoned work in her collages. Libby currently lives in New Jersey and finds inspiration in the work of Rauschenberg. She believes collectors should buy from the heart.

Artist Rick "Marlowe" Schneider depicts a captivating landscape of one of the most scenic areas in the United States, Lake Tahoe. The viewer is situated on a high terrain looking down at the vast body of water through tall and lush pine trees. Rick presents a vibrant dimensional display created from handmade papers that cast natural shadows depending on how the light hits the surface. This piece is a triptych, composed of three separate 36 x 12-inch panels.About the Artist

Artist Rick "Marlowe" Schneider creates mixed-media collages, combining the use of handmade paper with a raised dimensional technique. "This process produces distinct shadows which make the imagery jump off the canvas," says Rick. His work is a contemporary nod to 1930s and 1940s graphic design. By bringing together bold color combinations and patterns with quirky typefaces, Rick's work embodies the fun and elegant movie posters of Hollywood's Golden Age. Inspiration for his narratives comes from his father who was a pulp fiction writer. His loft studio in Leland, North Carolina, houses his archive of pulp magazines and stories from the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. "My workspace is cluttered with canvases and handmade paper that I have imported from Thailand. The daughter of two artists, Miranda Gamel grew up with artistic aspirations. “When I was young, I couldn’t imagine that I would be anything else… it only seemed natural,” she says. Miranda’s paintings exist on the edge of the surreal and the fantastical while remaining grounded in human emotion.
