Natasha Lelenco
Natasha Lelenco, born in Chișinău, Moldova in 1982, is a prominent Moldovan painter and contemporary artist who has been residing in Galicia, Spain, since 2008. She is especially known for her figurative work, particularly in the realm of portraiture. Holding a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Cluj-Napoca in Romania, her art has been featured in numerous international exhibitions and art fairs. Natasha Lelenco's art has been showcased across exhibitions in Spain, Germany, Denmark, Portugal, Mexico, and beyond. Natasha Lelenco's approach is figurative, primarily centered on the human form, which she understands as an integral part of life rather than its core. Her themes encompass identity, self-awareness, and the role of chance in shaping the value of things and life itself. Her artistic journey has given rise to self-contained series where narrative and format harmonize, often springing from a playful interplay of repetition, color juxtapositions, deformations in pursuit of psychological realism, and a selective use of elements and resources available in her studio. A recurring motif in her work is the creation of panels, which, through repetitive use of representations, weave a narrative. The visual motif of repetition, especially in the portrayal of faces, represents a graphic fixation that captures a world characterized by seriality. To depict this, she frequently draws inspiration from popular art, advertising, and kitsch. The resulting imagery often strikes a tragicomic chord. She finds solace in project-based work, and virtually all her endeavors since dedicating herself professionally to artistic creation revolve around narratives materializing in pieces that often seek to function both collectively and independently.

- "Ben-day Sophia 1" Mixed media, Acrylic, spray paint, pigment ink 36x28 canvasBy CeravoloLocated in Southampton, NY"Benday Sophia 1" pays tribute to those paintings that became the trademark of Ceravolo's unique and trend setting style of painting. His work is collected worldwide and is in many important collections including, Sir Elton John, Rod Stewart, Hugh Hefner and Prince Jefri of Brunei to name only a few. In addition to those, his paintings came to popular attention when he was commissioned to create 5 large scale paintings for the lobby of The Palladium Theatre in New York City. In this painting, Ceravolo has featured an image of his pop art painting of Sophia Loren, and combined it with a pattern of benday dots to create the basis of "Benday Sophia 1". He then paints his trademark brush strokes and textures on the canvas over the pop art portrait. Then, he paints the "floating" illusion that creates the 3d floating effect he is known for. The Canvas measures 36x28".Category

- Untitled (Pinkie) - Figurative Portrait Woman Pop Art PaintingBy Hilary BondLocated in Los Angeles, CAIn bold, acrylic line paintings, US artist Hilary Bond depicts the heads and torsos of women, often repeating the image in overlapping compositions. Her contemporary groups of pop culture portraits and figures are creatively rendered in a palette of transparently layered colors on canvas. This soft palette 36 inch high by 18 inch wide pop-figurative artwork is wired and ready to hang. The sides of this modern artwork are painted. It does not require framing. The painting is signed by the artist on the front and back. Affordable Continental U.S. and worldwide shipping available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. Abstract Expressionism, Pop Art, American culture, and childhood influence Hilary Bond’s choices in color, brush work, material, and composition. "I was searching for inspiring female figures and a female ideal, archetype, and muse. I started painting models, in particular, Kate Moss. The composition and line quality influence my color choice and ultimately the overall emotion of the work. I want my paintings to be mysterious, beautiful, assertive, and to have their own inner dialog. The artists who inspire me change with each piece, but I was substantially influenced by Manet’s Olympia, de Kooning, Schiele, and Warhol." Hilary Bond was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. After attending the Baltimore School for the Arts she went to The Cooper Union and received a BFA in 2007. Hilary’s artworks are represented by Artspace Warehouse...Category
