About the Item
Long-necked , elegant slender fingers and spellbinding eyes define a quintessential Latin beauty. The painting is has a simple, architectonic composition of vertical and horizontal elements interrupted by the diagonal action of her diamond-studded hand pointing to her face. Minor craquelure in black areas of sitter's dress in the lower part of the picture. Otherwise, work is in good condition and is powerfully elegant when viewed in person. Simple frame.

At the age of three, he showed considerable talent in drawing and painting. Zorthian went through two Turkish massacres before age eight. He left Turkey at age nine with his family and spent a year in Padua, Italy, waiting for his visa to open to the United States. This period was very important in his life because his father took him to many cities in Europe and exposed him to great works of art.
