FLOWERS - In the Manner of J.B. Monnoyer - Oil on Canvas Italian Painting

2010

About the Item

Flowers - Carlo De Tommasi Italia 2010 - Oil on canvas cm. 80x60 Gold leaf gilded wooden frame cm.106x86 This wonderful painting inspired by Jean Baptiste Monnoyer, shows a vase with a rich flowery bouquet resting on a stone surface, whose shape is underlined by the contrast of shadow, while the flowers, well defined and with lively chromatism, exhibit a significant strength descriptive. Our flower vase can be persuasively compared to various works certainly referable to Monnoyer.
