Hand-signed, dated, on the lower right margin. Not numbered.

This hypnotic artwork is an original creation by the English painter and printmaker Stanley William Hayter (1901-1988). He is considered one of the uncontested masters in etching of the 20th century. His legendary etching studio "Atelier 17" in Paris was frequented by important figures and big names: Miró, Arp, Giacometti, Kandinsky, Matta, Ubac, Alechinsky, Tanguy, Masson, Vieira da Silva and many others.
His art is associated both with Surrealism and with abstract Expressionism.
