Signed in pencil with Snaffles' bit blindstamp, in original 1/2" frame.
Snaffles was one of the foremost sporting artists of his era, publishing many popular prints such as these: hunting pictures, racing scenes, and military subjects. Snaffles' distinctive drawing style is emphasised by his 'remarque' - sketches in the margin - and his witty titles.
