About the Item

This piece is an original crayon lithograph on transfer paper created by Pablo Picasso in 1959. The zinc in this piece has been re-worked with crayon marks and this composition was utilized for the head copies of the "Californian note-book". This piece was published by Cercle d'Art and 125 numbered and signed proofs plus 25 artist reserved proofs were made. The frame dimensions are 27.25 x 21.5 inches and the image measures 17.25 x 11.25 inches. This piece is referenced as number 327 on page of 262 of "Picasso Lithographs" by Fernand Mourlot.
