2000

About the Item

This screen print by Mark di Suvero pops with day-glo colors. Bright green lines on a hot pink and orange background make for a fun piece of art in any room. This print is signed and numbered by the artist. The print comes directly from the publisher, Lincoln Center Editions for Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Please note that the framed image is for reference only. This print is sold without a frame. The artist, Mark di Suvero composes large-scale sculptures by drawing in space with the use of steel beams. Often referred to as a kinetic artist, di Suvero has used motion as a central element of many of his sculptures since the 1960s. Equally important is a viewer’s participation in the work – moving around to capture its changing vistas, or interacting directly with the sculpture by swinging or banging on it. He is an idealist, looking to reignite the sense of wonder that is often lost as one progresses through life.
