FEMME EN ROUGE SUR FAUTEUIL is a limited edition lithograph re-created after an original painting from the estate Collection of Marina Picasso, Picasso's grand-daughter. Printed using hand drawn lithographic plates (not a photo reproduction or digital print) on archival heavy weight Coventry printmaking paper, 100% acid free. Edition was produced in accordance with the Picasso family under the supervision of Marcel Salinas, master chromist who worked closely with Pablo Picasso during his lifetime.
Bears the estate approved printed signature of Picasso on lower margin. Lithograph is in excellent condition, never been framed or mounted. FEMME EN ROUGE SUR FAUTEUIL is a colorful abstract portrait of a seated woman on an armchair, her body comprised of bright red abstract shapes. FEMME EN ROUGE SUR FAUTEUIL captivates the viewer with its appealing color combination of bright warm red, deep forest green, blue, brown, and black.
