Gin Stone
From 1989 until 2010, Gin Stone worked solely as a painter- this background gave her a strong knowledge of color and form. Over a decade ago, she began experimenting with textile, particularly reclaimed fishing gear and line. From trial and error with different types of gear, she found that longline, used to commercially fish haddock and cod local to her studio, could be hand-dyed and manipulated into a strong color pallet with a uniform gauge. She create three dimensional work by cutting and re-piecing material to make the animal’s ‘pelt’s. Other details are hand carved from shell, stone, wood and metal. In 2018, she was invited by the Provincetown Art Association and Museum to conduct a course at the Lillian Orlowsky and William Freed Museum School on exploring new processes and creating a cohesive body work. Stone is a PAAM member with her work in their permanent collection alongside such notables as Robert Motherwell, Hans Hoffman and Edward Hopper. Stone has delivered talks at the Chandler Gallery, Cambridge, MA; the Fountain Street Gallery, Boston; and the Cambridge Art Association, Cambridge. In collaboration with Fountain Street, Chandler and Kathryn Schultz galleries, she has curated several shows in the Boston and Cambridge area. Her work has been included in exhibitions by such notable curators as Randi Hopkins, Director of Visual Arts Boston Center for the Arts; Paul Ha, Director of the MIT List Visual Arts Center; and Sam Tager, Independent Curator and Exhibition Designer. Gin has been awarded grants from the Rauschenberg Foundation, the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod and the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation. Born in New York in 1971, Stone currently lives and works in eastern coastal Massachusetts.

- Captivated (14/18) - Inspiring Figurative Abstract Bronze Iron Wall SculptureBy Mireia SerraLocated in Los Angeles, CAMireia Serra creates sensuous bronze and iron sculptures showing the beauty of snapshots caught in life which are full of emotions and feelings along the life journey. Her metal artworks capture the beauty of moments: A young lady challenged by the adventure of a new trip, a young man pondering about his dreams, a lost girl thinking about different options to know more about herself…Mireia vividly demonstrates how a piece of fine art sculpture could incorporate into our daily life, linking us with art that inspires and triggers us to contemplate life and relationship. Serra describes her artistic vision as “Figurative sculptures depicting contemporary everyday scenes. Reflect my inner world thus expressing moods and desires, feelings, joys and concerns stemming from my relationship with the world". This wall-mounted iron and bronze sculpture measures 5 inches tall, 9.5 inches wide, and 1 inch deep. This artwork is edition 14 of 18. A certificate of authenticity issued by the gallery is included. Free delivery is available for those in the local Los Angeles area, and affordable worldwide shipping is available for U.S. and international art collectors. Born in Barcelona in 1973, Mireia Serra's lifelong passion for sculpting was temporarily diverted by her parents' persuasion to pursue a career in fashion design. However, in 1998, she abandoned a lucrative role as a lingerie designer to follow her artistic calling and seek true fulfillment within the realm of fine arts. It was a transformative decision, allowing her to rediscover her true purpose and embark on a creative odyssey that continues to unfold to this day. In some of her present sculptures, the presence of elements from the fashion world such as cameras, texture, and detailed finishing of the clothes, and shoes are apparent. She graduated in 2002 from the Llotja School of Arts in Barcelona (the same school that took under its wing Antoni Gaudí, Pablo Picasso, and Joan Miró), specializing in iron and bronze. Later she took an advanced sculpture portrait course taught by sculptor Jorge Egea at MEAM (Museo European d'Art Modern) in order to master her technique. Working as a full-time sculptor since 2003, Serra started to exhibit with galleries throughout Spain and landed her first solo shows and her first international art fair in Madrid in 2013. Since 2016 Mireia Serra has been exhibited in galleries and art fairs in Germany, Austria, France, Luxembourg, Sweden, Belgium, Italy, and Hong Kong. Her works have been represented by Artspace Warehouse since 2017. - Diamond Heart (20/50) - Figurative Sculpture with Three-Dimensional Blue HeartBy Nayla SaroufimLocated in Los Angeles, CANayla Saroufim creates glossy balloon sculptures for display on a table or hanging on a wall or ceiling that challenge the traditional notion of the passive viewer. Saroufim's art is a rich mix of media. She was always captivated by the dialogue between painting, illustration, and graphics. Her work embodies her attraction to colors and interest in all forms of expression, especially installations. Her technique is unique and personalized: a fusion of mixed media and installations in layers of steel, copper, paint, and other elements. Saroufim strives to make her positivity and love of happiness appear in her art, sparking emotion and thoughts in viewers. This sculpture measures 12-inches high by 9-inches wide. It sits on a steel base that measures 2 inches deep at its widest point. It is signed and dated underneath the base of the artwork. This sculpture is numbered 20 out of 50. She graduated from the Académie Lebanese des Beaux-Arts with a degree in Illustration and Art Direction. While working in the publicity field at several multinational advertising agencies, Saroufim began rekindling her interest in art. Creative, a dreamer, and a lover of color and beauty, Saroufim has been engaging in a creative expression of her personality through art for over a decade. She hopes that by looking at her art, people will realize that there is beauty and happiness in the simplest things.
