About the Item
This rare vintage Patrick Kelly 1980's dress is such a great example of Kelly's ability to create incredible pieces designed to move with the body! This fun color block wool jersey dress has a black torso section with a flirty orange flounce hem. We are fortunate to have the same dress in black and pink in our collection! The tie at the neck with a keyhole opening is such a nice touch, and the dress slips overhead with no closures.
If you pair this dress with the right accessories and shoes, it can effortlessly take you from day to night! We love the way the dress hugs the body through the torso and then transitions to the fun hem.
Patrick Kelly pieces are highly collectible and we grab them whenever we can! Sadly, Patrick Kelly was only with us long enough to design for a few years.
The size of this dress is somewhat adjustable because the fabric has stretch and the oversized bodice allows for a wider range of bust sizes.

Patrick Kelly
Patrick Kelly was born in London, England. He studied fine art and industrial design at The Christopher School of Art and The Hammersmith School of Art, London, in the 1950s. Patrick's work has been shown at the New Vision Gallery in London, Madison Gallery in New York and All California Show at Laguna Beach. His work has also been shown around the world, including in Canada, Mexico and America. Patrick is known for designer colorful pop art style works, with an underlining industrial theme.
