1920s Vintage Black Silk Dress with Intricate Floral Embroidery
About the Item
This true vintage 1920's black silk dress is accented with intricate fine hand embroidery including beautiful couching. This beautiful detail makes this dress so special. The embroidery creates a lovely floral pattern in a variety of hues including cream, copper brown and blue. The sleeves are long with rolled cuffs and there are two invisible snaps to close the cuffs. There is a single front faceted glass black button below the embroidery.
These dresses were originally meant to be worn loosely as were all flapper style pieces, but you this dress could fit a range of sizes. You could wear it more fitted, just pay close attention to the shoulder measurement as it is smaller.
