Black Adrian-Inspired Hollywood Regency Gown w Cascading Ruffle Back – XS, 1930s

About the Item

With its cascading ruffle back skirt, puffed sleeves and sweetheart neckline, this gown is like a page out of Walter Plunkett’s designs for “Gone with the Wind” or Adrian’s for “Letty Lynton”. Girlish and feminine thanks to its cut, but also serious due to its color, texture and length. Ankle length gown with ruched sweetheart neckline and short puffed sleeves; contoured V waist seam. Full skirt with six tiers of ruffles from waist to hem down center back.
