Vintage Pierre Balmain Haute Couture Gown & Jacket Evening Ensemble No.155782/3
About the Item
Mid-1960's Pierre Balmain haute couture No.155782 gown with a high waist and featuring a brown gathered jersey bodice, a claret colored velvet waistband and an ivory ziberline A-line skirt. There are hidden zippers at the sleeve cuffs, an interior 3" wide hidden belt and the entire dress is lined with silk charmeuse. Comes with matching brown fox fur collared jacket with a very cool, subtle swing shape, useable flap pockets with silk taffeta interior lining No.155783. In very good vintage condition - the label has detached at one end at the interior of the dress and there is a small area at the top of the skirt that looks subtly abraded. And the jacket has a very light, imperceptible mark at the front side. As this is made to measure there is no size tag so please consult measurements.
