By designing her own prints, Rhodes was able to create looks that are truly unique and reflective of her creative vision. Produced by hand in the Zandra Rhodes studio, this gorgeous 1970’s jacket top is a perfect example of Rhodes’s inimitable style. The micro pleated top features an abstract design of squiggles, loops, and lines in tiffany blue, pink, and brown on a saturated red-orange ground. The top begins with a square neckline and ruffled angel sleeves framed by a fabulous sculpted ruffle trim that extends from shoulder to shoulder. The jacket has a relaxed fit and remains elegant throughout with side slits at the waist that allow for greater ease of movement. Each slit is adorned with a beautiful knotted tiffany blue tassel, giving this jacket an oriental feeling that is further enhanced by the single button closure at the front placket.
