Japan, a stunning large older scroll painting of two Koi lazily swimming . Hand painted in black sumi ink- an auspicious art composition rendered on paper and silk backing and dating to the Taisho period. Old bone rollers. This early 20th century piece would look fitting for a special space in your home, office, or sacred space. The placidly swimming fish soothes the mind and spirits and reminds us of the important cultural significance of this subject matter. Dimensions: 28 inches wide (roller end to roller end) and 79 inches length. Autographs & Seal Hand painted on paper and silk mount with an original older used backing.
