Pearlware Sauce Tureen and Four Oval Serving Dishes by Spode England C-1810

About the Item

Made in England circa 1810 This set of Spode pearlware dishes features a band of green roses highlighted with yellow and bordered by a brown lattice pattern. The center of each dish of the four oval-shaped dishes and the underplate of the tureen feature a single sprig of leaves. Dimensions: The sauce tureen measures 8" across the handles x 4.5" wide x 5" tall, the stand measures 9.75" long x 5.5" wide, the three oval dishes measure 10.5 x 7.25", and the lobed oval measures 10.5" x 7.5" Condition: Excellent, with very slight rubbing on the brown painted latticework decoration. Marks: The underside of each piece with the impressed "SPODE" mark and the pattern number "2605".
