Older Moroccan Perfume Bottle, Filigree, Brass & Glass ca. 1965, North Africa

About the Item

Vintage Moroccan perfume bottle: a rosewater sprinkler hand crafted most likely in Marrakech. These bottles are all one-of-a-kind, made in an art-deco/baroque by skilled artisans from old recycled French perfume bottles. This one is in particular beautiful, for the shape is slanted at the top of the glass and features a solid brass spout, which can be removed to fill in the rose-water. The entire bottle is held by intricately shaped filigree metal decoration, all custom made. ø foot is 3 cm approx., glass height 11 cm approx. and ø at the top of the glass 5 cm approx.. Beautiful vintage condition.
