English, early 19th Century
Larger dish: Height 3.5cm, width 13cm, depth 11.5cm
Smaller dish: Height 3cm, width 9cm, depth 7.5cm
This charming and delicate pair of antique dishes feature illustrations of playing cards on their enamelled surface. Both of the dishes have patterned, pierced edging in lobed, oval form. The larger dish has multiple cards from the hearts suit enamelled to the interior, and the smaller dish has a singular club card.
