About the Item
Set of six contemporary Japanese Imari porcelain dessert plates in blue underglaze on pure white fine porcelain, characteristic of Arita porcelain. This pattern is called Royal Blue Imari and was admired by European aristocracy and is to this day one of the most popular patterns in Japan and abroad. This set is the creation of a well respected kin in Imari-Arita region of Japan with over a hundred year history of creating the finest porcelain pieces in that region.
