Figlio di uno tra i più noti ceramisti di Faenza, apprende sin da piccolo l'arte di lavorare la creta. Si rivela uno scultore e un ceramista di alto livello. A lui si deve l'istituzione, nei primi anni '50, presso la Scuola d'Arte
G. Pellegrino di Lecce del primo laboratorio di ceramica. Successivamente diviene docente presso la scuola d'Arte di Bari, prima di ritirarsi nella sua città natale.
Il bassorilievo che vi presentiamo é degli anni ‘70 , il materiale utilizzato dall’artista é creta, con finiture in vernice color bronzo.
