About the Item

Toni Zuccheri attended the faculty of architecture in Venice under the guidance of Gardella, Albini, Scarpa and Samonà. He began collaborating with VENINI in the 1960s: his first glass works, following the family tradition, were animals made of polychrome glass with precious techniques, such as "murrine". In 1965 he began to collaborate with Gio Ponti, together with whom he designed a new stained glass system, the "Vetrate Grosse". Later, he expanded his glass production with new colors and subjects, participating in numerous exhibitions around the world. Venini Over the course of these one hundred years of history and passion, VENINI has preserved and interpreted a unique artistic heritage, which has its roots in the Venetian culture of the 1200s, givinglife to unmistakable works capable of blending together the profound knowledge of tradition withthe charm of contemporary aesthetics. Recently this brand of excellence is part of the DAMIANI Group which with its creations promotes the profound values of Made in Italy, Beauty and Savoir Faire on an international level.
