Circa 1900 English Double Bow Windsor Chair

About the Item

Circa 1900 Windsor armchair made from oak. It having a double bow with a hooped spindle back and a central wheel splat flanked by spindles, over a saddled elm seat standing on front cabriole legs and turned back legs joined by a crinoline curved stretcher. The English craftsmen carve, shape, and join the stretcher to the legs, creating a seamless integration that adds both strength and visual appeal to the chair. These chairs are the most comfortable for use anywhere in a home or office.
