Pair of Verner Panton Style Leather Sling Lounge Chairs
About the Item
Amazing minimalist design leather sling lounge chairs made in the mid-century Danish modern style and manner of Verner Panton (Danish Designer 1926-1998). Verner's chair design was the inspiration for many later styles such as Michael Verheyden's G.55 sling chair, and this design made for Roost in California. The chair features a patinated metal frame with a laid-back slant. The leather sling is attached on top and bottom with stitching. The base is flexible and has a lovely aged pewter-toned finish. The thick leather sling measures 16 inches wide. Dramatic profile sold as pair from an estate in Napa, CA.
