Art Deco Mirrored Round Tray in Chromed Metal, Italy 1930

About the Item

We offer you a round tray dating back to around the 1930s, perfect for serving, but in our opinion even more so as a wall mirror. This Mid-Century Modern tray has a circular shape made of metal, perhaps aluminum, chrome-plated. Equipped with two refined handles, rods with a quadrangular section, the frame encloses a mirror top which shows slight signs of oxidation due to age. This Deco tray has a chestnut wood base equipped with feet which raises it slightly from the top. Total diameter of the tray : 45 cm Diameter of the mirror alone : 38.5 Height of the tray including handles : 6cm Height of the frame edge only : 2.5cm We have shown it to you in the photo alongside a contemporary coffee service designed by Carlo Alessi, the iconic "Bombè" model, but it is up to you to imagine it as a Wine & Bar Cocktail tray or as a wall decoration. Reach out for any questions.

  • Vintage Oval Mahogany Butler's Coffee Tray Table in Georgian-style, Circa 1960s
    Located in Roma, IT
Passionate about Campaign Furnitures and travel items, we didn't miss this Butler's coffee table when we saw it on one of our client's boats moored along the Riviera D'Ulisse. It wasn't exactly in good condition but the charm of this item was evident despite the years spent at sea. Being made mostly of solid mahogany wood, our trusted restorer succeeded in the task of making this piece shine again. The heart of this vintage coffee table is rectangular, covered in mahogany veneer paneling. Semicircular panels in solid mahogany wood are fixed to each of the 4 sides of this rectangle with massive brass hinges, which can be raised to transform the top of this coffee table into a large tray. The tray has two lockable perforated handles on the sides, which allows you to lift it from the base, also made of solid mahogany wood, and move it elsewhere. The measurements of the coffee table with the sides closed are as follows: Width 90cm Height 62cm Depth 59cm The measurements of the coffee table with the top extended: Width 121cm Depth 90cm Height 48.5 cm As mentioned, this Butler's Boat Coffee Table...
