Original vintage health propaganda poster - I am cold trained - featuring an illustration of a smiling young boy holding up a shield with sport illustrations of swimming and playing a ball game, skiing and drying himself on it with a broken arrow marked Iillness / болезни breaking as it hits the shield showing his victory over being sick through his active life of summer and winter sports. Cold training or cold exposure conditioning is an ancient practice based on the impact of the elements of air, water, sun, and low and high temperatures on the body to improve circulation, strengthen the body and purify the spirit, and help the body improve immunity through its resistance to the adverse effects of these factors. Issued by the Central Research Institute of Health Education of the Ministry of Health of the USSR. Good condition, folds, creasing, tears, staining.
