14 Karat Yellow Gold Choker Necklace with Pearls and Shell Cameo
About the Item
A vintage (ca. 1950s) 14 karat yellow gold choker made of jasseron links alternating with pearls. The choker features a pendant made of a shell cameo with a female head. The pendant features a small compartment at the backside that can be closed with a glass cover set in a golden frame to store a picture or a tiny gadget. The size of this inner compartment is 16 mm x 22 mm. The outer size of the pendant (i.e. a shell cameo + a golden frame) is 24 mm x 30 mm. The length of the chain necklace is 48 cm. The total weight is 12 grams.
The pendant necklace is in good vintage condition with normal to its age signs of use.
It is marked with 14K that stands for the 14 karat gold content.
