Stephen John Skerce received his formal art training from the Chicago Art Institute and the Academie Julien in Paris, France. He is known for his landscapes, seascapes, and harbor scenes. He was an artist with both the Valley Art Gallery in Salinas and Venture Gallery in Monterey.

Stephen John Skerce
Stephen John Skerce was a painter from Monterey, California. He received his formal art training from the Chicago Art Institute, Salinas Art School and the Académie Julian in Paris, France. He is known for his landscapes, seascapes and harbor scenes. He was an artist with both the Valley Art Gallery in Salinas and Venture Gallery in Monterey. Skerce also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
