A very pretty portrait in a wonderful palette showing a young girl sitting elegantly poised, with her hands in her lamp, on a wooden chair. She is wearing a pink cardigan with green skirt and green tights and pink ribbons on her shoes. This delightfully clashing palette works well with the muted tones of the rest of the image.
The artist has signed to the lower right corner and the drawing has been presented in a glazed, gilt effect frame with a brown, wash-line mount.
