Julian Opie
View from My Bedroom Window

2007

About the Item

The digital art movement’s leading artist, Julian Opie, created View from My Bedroom Window in 2007 as a continuous computer animation on a 12” screen contained in a custom-made, silver powder-coated surround case. Over the course of 48 seconds, the screen displays a computer animation of a single view outside the artist’s bedroom window that spans 24 hours. A label at the back of the case contains the artist’s signature as well as the edition number. This dynamic and highly collectible artwork measures 9 ¾ x 12 in. (24.8 x 30.5 cm), and is from the edition of 300 as issued. Available for local pick up from Michael Lisi Contemporary Art, NYC.
