About the Item
Gian Piero Arzuffi, also known as G.P.A., "Labyrinths of the heart IV". Gian Pietro Arzuffi(G.P.A.), born in 1979, is a prolific and talented artist. Since his early school years, his passion for drawing has accompanied him in everyday life. He experiments with his own techniques and ideas over the years, trying to extract from his works the essential element that he wants to convey to the observer. The characteristic that distinguishes it is the use of "puzzle" pieces for the representation of the works, trying to make the observer grasp the meaning of the work from the very first moments of observation, it recognizes in life a choreography of voices and actions, a whole of multiple vicissitudes, more or less pleasant but always constructive, as the artist himself states "life is nothing more than a puzzle to which we add a piece day by day.
The depiction of him recalls the classic American pop art style of the 70s in which Hollywood stars, superheroes, elements of everyday life, musical groups that have marked the history of music, great characters found their place and global expression.
The technique mainly used is that of a work on canvas with a first pencil drawing of the subject to be created, first base coat and then creation of the subject with pure colors.
