2022

About the Item

Interior design paintings. Abstraction art, made in yellow, blue, black and white color. Lena Chernyavskaya / LENA CHER Born in 1986. She lives and works in Moscow and Los Angeles. An interior designer by education, she was fond of watercolor painting at the university; she painted landscapes, portraits and nudes. Lena also built a successful career as a model and actress in Russia, she graduated from the German Drama School of Drama, having completed an acting and directing course. Now, in parallel with art, she acts in films, TV shows, commercial advertising and plays in the immersiveness of the theater. Two and a half years ago, Lena decided to continue her development in painting, turning to ultra-modern techniques of liquid acrylic (liquid technique) and alcoholic ink, as well as using epoxy resin to create strong visual effects. Lena's artistic search field intersects between two vectors - randomness and the desire for harmony. It all starts with the definition of a balance formula. The artist chooses color combinations and outlines the composition of the future picture. The necessary freedom is provided by the limitless possibilities of the genre of abstraction and the flexibility of liquid technology. Experimenting with effects, Lena is trying to create organic textures that repeat the movement of natural elements.
