Ly Hung Anh is known for his figurative oil on canvas paintings, he often paints members of his family in black, white and grey. “Mother and Child” (Anh's wife and son) is a typical example of his style where he also demonstrates his ability to include extensive texture to the piece. Anh has had many group and individual exhibitions throughout Asia including his competitive selection at the Ernst & Young Asian Art Outreach in Singapore and at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum and the Asian Painting Competition for Awards sponsored by Phillip Morris.
