Peaceful and harmonious mid century California landscape depicting rolling foothills dotted with green trees in the soft light of dawn, with a grove of tall birch trees punctuating the foreground and casting their long shadows in the dappled light, by Glendale artist J.A. Dockeray (American, 20th Century). c.1950s. An excellent example of mid-20th century California Impressionism. Signed "J.A. Dockeray" lower right. Presented in a rustic wood frame.
