Known for his luminous landscapes, Heichberger perfectly captures the fleeting scenes of a sunrise or a sunset, the serenity of a stream or the grandeur of the great outdoors. He has stated “A big part of creating a beautiful canvas is being able to paint from my heart and my mind, not relying solely on reference material but being able to impart the emotion I feel for a particular scene.”
