Signed, verso, on canvas, 'Sean Sult' for Sean Gilbert Sult (American, born 1949) and dated 'Spring, 1980'.
A substantial oil showing an ocean view looking across a park toward the deep blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. This listed Bay Area Figurative artist first studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena where he earned his BFA and subsequently painted and exhibited in the Los Angeles area. Sult has also worked in Hollywood as a set designer and decorator for numerous motion pictures including Star Trek.
