About the Item

"Orchard Blossom" by David Farren is a captivating original French Impressionism landscape painting that transports viewers to the enchanting beauty of a sunlit orchard in full bloom. Executed with acrylic on board, Farren's brushwork captures the ephemeral charm of blossoming trees in a landscape bathed in the gentle warmth of spring sunshine. The medium of acrylic on board provides a solid foundation for Farren's artistry, allowing him to convey the delicate nuances and vibrancy of the scene. The impressionistic style is evident in the artist's expressive strokes, creating a sense of movement and immediacy that defines the allure of the blossoming orchard. Framed in a white frame, the painting is not only a testament to nature's elegance but also a framed work of art ready to grace any space. Farren's signature adorns the painting, marking it as an authentic piece that captures the essence of the season. The focal point of the painting is the Orchard Blossom, where branches heavy with delicate white blossoms stretch toward the azure sky. Bathed in the soft glow of spring sunshine, the orchard exudes a sense of tranquility and renewal. The play of light on the blossoms creates a luminous effect, emphasizing the ethereal quality of the flowers in full bloom. The color scheme, dominated by shades of white, green, and blue, mirrors the soft and refreshing palette of spring. Farren's skillful use of color captures the essence of the season, where the orchard becomes a canvas of delicate hues. "Orchard Blossom" is currently available for purchase at Signet Contemporary Art in Chelsea and online. Art enthusiasts have the opportunity to bring the timeless elegance of a blossoming orchard into their living spaces, where Farren's artistry preserves the fleeting beauty of nature on board. Immerse yourself in the serenity and charm of "Orchard Blossom," where the magic of impressionism meets the ephemeral beauty of spring. Artist biography: David Farren is a modern impressionist painter of street scenes and landscapes, concentrating on the effects of light. David was born in Wiltshire and gained a reputation as a modern impressionist, using open brushwork and colour to represent the energy and movement of the landscape. He is fascinated by the changing light within a scene and how it determines the mood of a place at a particular time – be it a busy New York street or a quiet corner of France. The Artist States: “The painting process begins with finding inspiration -walking the streets of New York or London with my sketchbook and camera, looking for interesting light and compositions. I’m often up before dawn so I can be in location for sunrise when there’s a strong contrast between the warmth of the sun, lighting up the edges of figures and cars, and the long cool shadows. I then take all the ideas and information back to my garden studio where I work from the sketches to create the finished painting” David is currently working at his studio in South of France and exhibiting widely in leading galleries across the country. His paintings are held in private collections in the UK, France, USA and Ireland.
