About the Item

Easy Rider Bike Scene by Globe Photos Archive Easy Rider 1969 film classical portrait riding on a motorcycle with a helmet. Easy Rider is a 1969 American independent road drama film written by Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, and Terry Southern, produced by Fonda, and directed by Hopper. Fonda and Hopper play two bikers who travel through the American Southwest and South, carrying the proceeds from a cocaine deal. The success of Easy Rider helped spark the New Hollywood era of filmmaking during the early 1970s. A landmark counterculture film, and a "touchstone for a generation" that "captured the national imagination," Easy Rider explores the societal landscape, issues, and tensions in the United States during the 1960s, such as the rise of the hippie movement, drug use, and communal lifestyle. paper size 30 x 40 inches / 76 x 101 cm edition of 24 only in this size Archival pigment print unframed (framing available see examples - please enquire) Note other sizes of this image are also available please enquire Edition size varies with chosen paper size : Regular 11×14 inches / edition of 250 Classical 16×20 inches / edition of 125 Luxe 20×24 inches / edition of 75 Large 30×40 inches / edition of 24
