A fun and familiar image created by Keith Haring as an original lithograph in colors in 1988, International Volunteer Day was commissioned by the United Nations on its 40th anniversary to celebrate professionally qualified men and women who volunteered in the UN’s development assistance activities. The artwork, hand-signed and numbered in pencil, measures 11 x 8 ½ inches (28 x 21.6 cm), unframed and is from the edition of 1000 as published by the World Federation of the United Nations Association, with a signed certificate from WFUNA. Available for local pick up from Michael Lisi Contemporary Art, NYC.
