About Willy Johansson Willy Johansson was a pioneer in Norwegian glass design, known for his organic and pleasing design language. As a third-generation glassworker, he grew up in Jevnaker, where his father, Johan Wilhelm Johansson, worked as a glassblower at Hadeland Glassverk. Johansson got an early taste of the glass trade, delivering his father's breakfast to the glassworks as a young boy. After finishing primary school, he started as an apprentice at Hadeland Glassverk and later continued his studies at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry, where he was taught by prominent figures like Jacob Prytz and Sverre Pettersen...
