1970s Saks Fifth Avenue Vintage Purple & Gold Stripe Silk Caftan Dress w Belt
About the Item
This is a lovely vintage silk caftan that was purchased from Saks Fifth Avenue in the 1970's. The striped 100% silk fabric is in beautiful shades of jewel tones including purple, teal / turquoise blue and gold. The body of the caftan is quilted with rows of topstitching and the sleeves and sash are not quilted. The sleeves have nice slits and there is also a slit in the caftan itself. The sash can be worn in a number of ways, even as a head scarf, but we have shown it tied in the style of an Obi. This beautiful kaftan is in excellent condition and we estimate that it would best fit a modern day US size Small. Please use the measurements as a guide for the best fit.
