Rare and a true work of art by the brilliant American designer, Geoffrey Beene! Though Beene started his career in fashion mid century, some of his most celebrated pieces were created in the 80s and 90s. His attention to detail on this piece is beyond describable.
Flattering black ruched silk tailored bodice with a sheer metallic flower embroidered overlay above the bust. Red, yellow and black tartan plaid silk taffeta flared skirt. Hidden zipper up the back with hook-and-eye closure. Great with heels or boots. In perfect unworn condition. Made in USA
