About the Item
Authentic, preowned, vintage Bonnie Cashin for Coach 'Cashin Carry' Attache Briefcase bag, likely made in the early 1960s.
Made from tan leather, this chic business bag features an oversized kiss lock pocket in front and a zippered main compartment in the back, all of which is lined in tattersall fabric. This is the larger version of this style, and has 4 metal feet on the bottom.
A fabulous vintage business bag that's so hard to find nowadays! Bonnie Cashin designed stylish and always practical pieces for women "on the go", and this bag is a wonderful example of her design aesthetic.
Made in the USA. Pre creed bag with cloth tag reading "A BONNIE CASHIN DESIGN CASHIN CARRY FOR COACH". Approximate measurements: 16in L x 11in H x 3in D w/5in handle drop.
Preowned/vintage (55+ years old) with DEFINITE signs of age, use and prior wear: color variation/scratches and rubs to the exterior and handle; handle and top frame are bent from storage; hardware is patina'd and shows some loss; interior shows some spots.
Despite these flaws, still an incredibly rare and collectible bag!
