Chinese Porcelain Tea Bowl Hand Painted Famille Rose Qing Qianlong, circa 1760
About the Item
This is a finely hand painted Chinese porcelain tea bowl from the 18th century, Qing dynasty, Qianlong period, 1736-1795.
The bowl is well decorated, continuously around the body with figure scenes in an outdoor verandah setting having a fence, trees and bushes, all hand enamelled, over-glaze with rich polychrome enamels of green, red, pink, burnt orange, blue and magenta all in varying shades.
The inner bowl has a hand painted border around the rim..
The tea bowl is unmarked to the base but dates to the Qing, Qianlong, 18th Century period.
