About the Item

Very colorful and unique handmade ceramic tiles. Manufactured by Faiencerie de Bouffioulx, Belgium, 1920s Stylized design in wonderful bright colors green, pink, ochre and light blue/gray. These tiles would be charming displayed on easels, framed or incorporated into a custom tile design. This Belgian factory was founded in 1922 by Auguste Goret. The wide range of production, included ceramic and stoneware tiles for buildings, fireplaces and fountains. There was also a decorative range. The company closed in 1960.Please notice the price is for 1 piece. We have 36 pieces available. Size each tile: 6 inches inches (15.2 cm) width x 6 inches (15.2 cm) height x 0.39 inches (1 cm) thick. Condition is generally very good. Minor chips, scuffs, color different and wear associated with age. Some crazing to the glaze is part of the historical design. This tiles are handmade and antique. There can be slight variations in each tile's size because of there age and craftsmanship.
