Early 19th Century French Walnut Door

About the Item

A 19th Century Louis XV style walnut door from the Loire Valley. This two sided interior door is made of thick planks of solid walnut with hand carved scroll decoration typical of the region. Large iron hinges. Working lock and key. Pegged construction. Beautiful wood with waxed patina. Circa 1800-1820. Small repairs on the bottom. We have four doors of similar size available.
