Ormolu Louis XVI Planter in Mahogany and Marble

About the Item

Interesting Louis XVI style planter in speckled mahogany veneer and gilded brass and bronze ornamentation. Large zinc bench in the upper part and violet marble top in the front to present a floral composition on two levels. All sides finish allowing this piece of furniture to be either positioned as a console against a wall or in the middle of a room to separate two spaces, for example. Rare model. Parisian work from the first half of the 20th century, very good quality, very neat, magnificent speckled mahogany.
