About Accolay :
Accolay designates both the place (South Burgundy) and the name of a community of ceramists whose abundant activity will be on almost 50 years. Founded in 1945, this ceramic center owes its reputation to its creations mixing tradition and avant-garde and whose production is easily recognizable through forms which often borrow from popular art by the diversion of usual objects and the anthropomorphic forms which remains a characteristic of French post-war ceramic creation.
